A special moment

When they hand you the microphone and you walk out on stage it's a moment where you realize that everybody is expecting and hoping to see and hear something marvelous, inspiring, motivational, deep or whatever fancy adjective you come up with.  If you

give that moment respect it's beyond humbling.  It's a moment of truth where you look at yourself and pray that you have something of value to say.  I love this moment.  It's exhilarating and deeply humbling when it hits you that people in the audience believe you have something good to say and they're counting on your to deliver.  I am so very thankful for all of the audiences I've stood before over the decades.  Each time is meaningful.  I love you all.
