Remember your daily prayers
Everybody thought I was praying publicly so I would talk well on stage. But I was actually illustrating how some people start their day with a prayer hoping and praying that their life will change even though they continue to repeat the same patterns day after day and
expect different results. Scientists know that a repeating pattern results in a repeated result. Why do humans seem to expect a different result even though they repeat the same stuff over and over again? I suppose it's because we keep hoping that the thing we dreamed up and failed with will somehow suddenly get better and gold will fall from heaven dowsing us in wealth. But it isn't so, is it? If you want different results you have to do something different. It's not enough to keep repeating the same ole stuff everyday and tell yourself it's going to get better. Most likely it won't get better at all. It will get worse the longer you ignore the reality. If you want things to change, you gotta get up and change yourself. Us humans have a nasty way of waiting until the last second to change.
Yes, I do actually pray before everytime I go on stage, but I do it in private. That kind of stuff is personal for me.
